2016 Explorer Limited
I have a 2016 Explorer Limited. When the vehicle is at standstill and in parked the car is quiet. Once I put the car in drive and slightly press the gas pedal near 1000 rpm’s I hear a rattling sound near the front end. During normal driving I don’t hear anything. It only happens from a stop and slight acceleration. Anyone ever had this problem. I couldn’t find a heat shield that was loose. It sounds like it’s in the engine or transmission.

Jmikewhitney,
Did you have any luck identifying this problem? Mine is doing the same thing. Thanks!

Did you find out what the issue was and how to resolve it?
