Most of this truck seems to be easy to work on but I have a list which I'll guess I'll post in in the forums on each issue as I tackle them

  1. center brake light does work
  2. joystick switch on driver's seat for position is very temporamental
  3. rear heated window has one contact ripped off of glass
  4. steering wheel buttons for cruise control have disintegrated

Cruise control switches available online

Sounds like a nice tough rig!
2000 v8 is about the best Explorer ever built :)

- brake light

- cruise control buttons

Heres a few to get you started. The glass youll most likely have to source at the bone yard.

Welcome!

Welcome.

Thanks! With help I have already knocked off the break light and the seat and steering wheel switches look super simple. I have seen people sell conductive epoxy for heated window repair but seems like very mixed results from reviews. I'm going to give that a go.
