I have leaky gear box

HI I have 98 4.0L SOHC 5R55E explorer and its leaking oil out the gear box all over the cat only when it driving, it does not leave any oil on ground over night plaese can some one help out .

When you say gear box, I guess you mean the transmission, you probably have a servo cover leaking or one of the cooler lines loose.
You have to crawl under there and look.

sorry yes transmission,The lines are not leaking, it seems to be coming from between bellhouse and the block. it some time goes into limp mode I then put it nuetral and rev the motor then put it back in drive that fixes it for about 1/2hr.

Only thing I can think of in that area would be the front seal or the bell housing to main case bolts.
