I just got my first explorer for $600 bucks

Im new here, I just wanted to share what i got for 600 bucks

Its a trailer queen, and its beat up, but im gonna do the same thing to it any ways. and it was hella cheap here are some pics

It needs some work, its a red neck 4 link job, but its works and flexes like crazy


1992 explorer motor runs great, 5 speed tranny, 70% 35 TXR's, disc brake kit on welded rear 8.8, 3.73's, solid dana 30 front, 4 linked front, all heim joints, expensive coil over shocks, keyless entry and alarm

Just a little work (hint d44 hint) and some tlc it will be crazy

Welcome to the site, what a very lucky find.I was just informed about a straight axle 1st gen in a local jy and off course when i called them, they told me i would have to buy it part by part and that i would not geta title.I told them so since it's not original parts do i need to figure out what front axle and which leaf springs they used so you can correctley price me...and since the motor is locked up and tranny has drained all fluid, do i just pull em and throw them into the ranger bed beside it?Yeah they hung up on me.
