Hi Guys,

2003 4.6L

Under the throttle cable, there's another cable sort of thing. It's plastic, and it goes to an electrical box of some kind. I don't know what it is. But attached to it, there was a little plastic cap. When I was messing around with stuff back there the cap ended up shooting off and getting lost forever.

I say again, I have no idea what this part is or if it's important. I had meant to take a picture of the missing cap location in my own vehicle, but I spotted a much better angle of it in a youtube video, so I decided to just screen shot it.
Here's a photo of a similar part from a crown vic engine: http://imgur.com/a/AtRMH

On my engine the part is black, not grey. But I on mine the rounded front cap is what's missing.

Is this part important? Should I replace it? Can anyone help me ID it?
