Wax the XLT this weekend. I may even wash the Sport if I feel up to it enough. Pretty crazy thinking!!!Hopefully I don't get tired halfway through and have a half waxed truck though.

The easiest way to fix a half waxed truck is to go straight to the mud pit! Nobody will be able to tell. ...Unless it's a really good wax job and the mud doesn't stick to one side.

BTW..are you going to fix your web page? :)

Whats wrong with it? I guess I should look at it eh?

Nevermind! I figured it out. The blue backround is gone. I will have to wait till I get home to get that one fixed.

come on over, wax mine too. I'll be wiring up my reverse lights and possibly waxing the truck this weekend, depends on weather and "other plans"

Atleast you have Dogman, I really don't have anyone else around. If I want to hang out with 4x4 people, i have to go to the Jeepers!

PLEASE! Someone with an OFF_Road Explorer Move to Southern NH!!!!

Man if I even can get mine done it would be a miracle! LOL We will see though.

i'm ready to give up waxing my explorer:mad:
it gets dirty and dull looking in only a few days.

The last time I waxed the sport it lasted a long time for the water to just run off. Now it probably needs it again. Once a year even if it needs it or not! :)

I'm in central Massachusetts

Well I just washed it only. Ended up going over to Cherry Creek Park to visit with Maranda's Grandparents and throw the football around. Its weird how easy it is to re-pickup on that.

I did get it washed good though! I used up the dish soap I had and got it all clean! All the grease/oil all over the side is gone which is nice.

Now you definitely need to wax it. The dish soap most likely removed whatever wax was on there. :o

peace

Mike

Well considering its 9 years old and has not been waxed for the last 8 I kinda dought there was any left to take. :) It has/had a power stearing leak and at one point it dripped all over one side of the truck and using regular water was not getting it off. It had a film all over the whole side of the truck. It leaked onto the manifold and blew smoke all over the side of the truck. Some of it must have still been wet. :)

I know it needs a wax bad, the color is really dulled out.
