I posted a thread about a sound coming from the rear end of my Explorer, and several people said that the rear end is probably shot. I was hoping to find an easy fix because I have a posi rear, but alas, it seems to be a lost cause without rebuilding it (beyond my capabilities).
Therefore I'm looing for a working rear end for a 1996 Explorer. I'm in Bellville, Ohio and can drive to pick it up. I will be going through PA soon and would like to get it on my way out or back, but can arrange pick-up from about anywhere USA.
I will have my posi rear end available for someone who wants to replace the bearings or whatever is causing the noinse once I get the replacement in.
