I need help finding a wire !

I just got my summit dual battery wire kit in the mail today, In the instructions it says i need to find a hot wire that is only powered when the key is in the run and start position only it cannot be on when the key is on accessory or in the off position. I have a 1994 xlt does anyone know where i can find a power source like that?

AlaskanJack helped me with this one yesterday.

Under the power distrobution block next to the air filter (under the hood) you will find a heavier guage red wire with a light green stripe. It connects to the outer connector of the diode next to the fender. I used a spade terminal and plugged it in conjunction with the diode. Very easy!

Anyone know where to find a similar wire on a later X, say like a 01 sport or sport trac?? This could help me out greatly to modify how my lights are wired ( I currently have them looped into the high beams... but want to be able to use them independent of the highs), thanks.
