I need help! Power Driver seat!

I have a 06 Explorer with the power drivers seat. It goes all the way back when you remove the key....Which I loved until 3 days ago. We brought our new baby home from the hospital and now you can't get he in the truck with out starting the truck first and then you have to get her out before you turn it off.....Is there anyway to turn that feature off????

Welcome to this forum! You could add a cut off switch to the circuit.

Id just get the seats in the position you like, then find the fuse and remove it.

but thats just what my first thought is im not sure what else that could effect

Go into the set up on the message center when you get to the part marked "easy entry" turn it to off. The seat will no longer move when you remove the key. Congrats on the new baby.

OK....and to get in to the message center set up you.....???

Check your owners manual on how to do the setup. There is a buttin on the dash that says setup.

I found it next time I got in...works great now!
It was the "Easy Entry" option.
