1994 fore ranger
hey if any one can help me hear. this is my problem. I have a 1994 ford ranger automatic 4.0LT and I just put in a 1991 engine in to it. We tried doing the KOER & KOEO test and code 10--SNAO THROTTLE and code 538-- comes up. And code 111. What is it all mean and how would I fix in???
Pleas e-mail me at dustynsousa_09@yahoo.com thank you.

KOER 538 almost always points to operator error during the KOER test -- namely, you neglected the "goose" test part. You might review the test instructions in the code list thread and my notes on pulling EEC-IV codes to make sure you are following the test protocol.

10 is how some scanners report the single pulse cues. During the KOER test, this would be the "goose" pulse that tells you when to goose the throttle, and during the KOEO test, this is the "separator" pulse that separates KOEO from CM codes.

111 is a pass code, which means the computer didn't see any faults for that portion of the test.

ok thank you. but now I have a slight miss. but 111 still comes you. I’m just wondering if my truck would pass smog?
