I need Info on my Alternator

I picked up an alternator from my friends dad for five bucks, He thinks it is a 130 amp alternator. How do I find out if it is or not?

Take it to auto zone or o'rileys or Napa or whatever parts store you have and they should test it for free and they can tell you

Thanks for the advice, I did that to day and they said that the stamp on the housing is not there and they had no clue on any other ways to find out. It is made by ford, Does ford make 130 amp alts? I guess I will put it in and be happy with it.
