Hello all,
I'm no car guy, and I need some help. I took my 2000 Ford Explorer Sport in and came back with a laundry list of things I need to get fixed. I'm a military guy who lives in Lake County, IL. I need to reduce the cost of this overhaul because I'm broke.
Apparently I have the following issues:
Rear axle seal leak
All brake pads and rotors need to be replaced...tires too
Ball joints are loose on all wheels
Exhaust leaks (manifold and bolts on 1 side)
Alternator issues
pulleys
Like I said, I don't have a lot of money, but I need to get this car up and running. I don't know which of these issues is the most important, and I can never tell if a shop is giving me a fair price or taking me to the cleaners. If anyone can help me out I'd appreciate it.
