I have a 1994 Limited Edition with auto trans and axel code 41 =(
Which seems to indicate a 3.27 geared rear end. What is my towing capacity, I am hoping that I am reading wrong because I just read it as being only 2000lbs . . .. that would really suck cause I am moving and just bought a 6x12 haulmark trailer which I am/was planning on loading up with my belongings and driving to new jersey.

Also I was wondering about the limited slip rear end, I beleive mine is not a limited slip, how will that affect my towing?

The limited slip won't really affect towing much, but a 3.27 is going to really suck. How far are you towing? I assume that Haulmark weighs at least 4-500lbs? Are you a 4x4?

About 650 miles, the haulmark probally weighs about 1000lbs, but I am not certain, I have calculated it weighing at about 1600lbs though and have calculated having about 1500lbs of belongings total in the truck inclucding myself, my GF and cargo. I originally was thinking that I could tow about 3200lbs, after reading that chart, I am not sure but it looks like it was 2000lbs. Is that what you get from reading the chart? Did I read it wrong?

I assume your a 4 door, automatic. Are you 4x4?

Yes I am 4x4 4 door automatic with 4.0 ohc

Looks even worse to me. 1,800. No, wait, that's not right. To me it looks like your not on the chart.

I didn't see the years on the charts. There is none for the 91-94 on that page.

Yea, I am looking to a tranny cooler right now. Is there a really good brand I could trust? I was actually thinking of going to a "you pull it" junk yard and getting one off of another vehicle, it would be dirt cheap, and I will not have to wait for one to be delivered or any of that crap. What do you think? Any obvious disadvantages of pulling one myself? I realize that there is the time involved and I would look for a newer looking one. I was thinking that I may find a much larger one off of a large truck and replace the current one with that. What you think?

Sure you could pull one. Be sure to blow it out well, just in case. Usually the auto stores sell RV sized coolers for under $40.
