I see into the Future: Tellico Summer 2005

Well guys, im dropping the pan on the trans tommorow, if i dont see anything visibly causing a problem, than its getting yanked for a rebuild, and ill be driving the Explorer till i can get my next car running, than the Explorer will msot likely be sold, I hope though if everyone is still game, that i can go up there, and maybe ride with some one? I hope to have a 4x4 for a trail rig only when i get outta HS. But right now all im doing is taring stuff up

I Hope all of yall are still up for this, and like i said i could possible ride with some one. Maybe JTX? if your still game to come i can ride with you :)

You can ride with me no worries! You can even fly here and go to Moab with me next year.

If I can find a tow-rig and a trailor (maybe dads '03 sport)...

Sport what?

yeah i wouldn't suggest using a sport as a tow rig for a 4dr.

Unless you guys could find me something different to tow it with....
It pulls a 4700lb travel trailor.... it does have 4.10's. So until you can provide me with something more capable..... I guess that'll have to do.

Shane, honestly man, it ain't worth it. You know how these trannies are! It may pull that trailer, but what about the weight of your explorer on that?

Ok, you win... Ill just look at the photo's you all bring back from the trip... (if I can find about $500 for gas, Ill drive the Explorer there.. on 235/75's.) That would look goofy with 7-9" of lift.. ya think?

Its not a big deal... thats a long drive anyway... A friend of mine does have an F350 TD though...

Shane

Na man, i want you to go more the anything! But don't you think it will kill that sport?

Check with your buddy, maybe he can ride along.

I'm not sure if our Turbo Diesel Excursion is up for towing that much weight.

j/k That thing pulls like none other :burnout:

Sorry for the confusion :)

Oh okay, no problem!

Why would there be a problem??
If you don't mind me asking?

There is no problem. You said sorry for the confusion and i alway say, oh okay no problem! See, no problem? LOL

lol

I know Im not heard from much, but Ive been working all summer and have the money to do some serious work. I think I will be ready for Tellico by next summer. Ive been talking with a guy that funs Salvage Jeep in Statesboro GA and he goes all the time. Hes on 36" Swampers, and Ill talk to him and see whne he is going, so Ill get some info from him, but count me in.

Im happy to see such positive Response! Me having an Explorer And wheeling isnt lookig nto good, but if this goes through, i WILL be there, ill be riding with JasonB, and maybe JTX if he decides to still come!!!!!

This is gunna be fun guys :bounce:

Would any of the REALLY BIG rigs be able to go, or is it too easy??
I would love to see Rick's or MSUPERTEK's (sp?) rigs.
Not saying that Josh C.'s isn't big(looks to be the biggest signed up as of now), I would just love to see a really chopped up trail rig only type truck there:D.
