I have had a slow leak for a while...I would fill it with freon, two weeks later warm again. Then all of a sudden it went REALLY warm. The clutch is cycling every 3-4 seconds.

so I popped the hood and started looking and jiggling. I disconnected the clutch pressure switch figuring that might be a problem after reading on here about it. I turned it slightly to see if I could see a part number and I hear "pssssssssssss". So I tried turning it back, but it wouldnt completely stop hissing.. I guess I found my leak. either the O-ring or switch. I am going to replace both and then go have it tested and hopefully filled. Its getting HOT here in Miami

I am getting the o-ring kit...might as well do as many as I can

and I guess I will have no problem de-presurizing the system as it probably all leaked out overnight

While the system is going to be open anywhere...

You should replace the orifice tube and the accumulator as well as the o-rings...With the refrigerant leaking out air and moisture have been seeping into the system...And the accumulators job is to eliminate moisture in the refrigerant system...

The orifice tube is there to catch any debris in the system...Evacuating and resealing the system might dislodge any loose particles throughout the system and if the orifice tube has debris on it already then any more will restrict flow through that point...

Besides to have to replace later you would need to recover, evac, and recharge so now would be the best time to get it done...
