I think my stock amp crapped out?!

Lovely........I need to go out and buy a set of tox screws I've been postponing on that way too long. Well the panels should be fun I'm really horrible when it comes to that kind of stuff, I have a tendancy of cracking it lol.

I have a retarded question.......now I'm getting I have the splice the wires together right at the amp right that's over the wheel well?
Or you could buy an amp bypass kit and save yourself a ton of hassle.

Now that's exactly what i was looking for! Where can I get it Jason?

I recently did a 93 XLT and I got all the wiring needed to do the job at Best Buy for 18 bucks.

save yourself a ton of hassle.
You'd still have to remove the plastic panel which is really the only hard part.

Don't buy a whole set of torx bits without first looking what you need. On a 2 door there are two that hold the rear window in. They are samlla nd I forget what size. For all vehicles the seatbelt torx bit size is T-50. You can get it in the form of a socket at sears and most autoparts stores. I recomend one with a lifetime warrantey cause those seatbelts are on there good and I have broken a torx bit.

I'm definately liking this.......thank you all for the information. I'm going to call up Best Buy in a few minutes and then get situated and pick up some torx bits. Ahh that's ok.....I'd like a set of bits just to have incase I ever do I need it and I'm not sitting there scratching my head on what to do. Although it's not the smartest idea some allen keys will work inside a hex screw, you just have to be very careful when you spin it.

That's strange, i asked the mobile audio department at best buy and they said they don't carry anything like that?!@

Crutchfield has them, but you'll have to wait. Call some install shops, or save $15 and wire it yourself.

I would recomend just a driver set for the smaller ones then just get the sizes you need in sockets for the big ones. I have only found thee sizes in the larger ones I have ever needed on my X. T-50 is the most common on the interior, then a slightly smaller one for the recliner spring in the seat then a bigger one for some outside stuff.

Hey Mbrooks420 I just want to thank ya for the wiring schematics. I found the harness at circuit city my ex employer and might I add the suck! But anyway the harness was 19.80 with tax so that's kewl. I went on a tool binge today at sears and bought some u-joints and a 13 peice torx set for 32.99. I guess it's pretty kewl considering the craftsman ones were 39.99 for a 7 peice so I'm happy with the purchase, like I mentioned earlier you never know when you'll need all those torx bits! And thanks to everyone else that helped out on this posting!! :)
