I turned off ambient lighting, now the option is gone.

I turned it off, and changed my mind a few weeks later.

But now the menu option for ambient lighting is gone, as though I didn't have the package. I've tried it parked with engine off, parked with engine on, etc. it's just not there.

Thoughts?

I'm assuming you are looking in the correct menu. Does anything else appear to be missing? This is what you should see;

Press the Settings icon (gears), then select Vehicle, then select from the following:
• Ambient Lighting
• Vehicle Health Report
• Door Keypad Code
• Rear View Camera
• Enable Valet Mode.

Haven't heard of this issue before. You can always try a Master Reset if all else fails.

I haven't heard of the option disappearing, but if you check where Peter advised above, and the option is not there, please make an appointment with your dealership to diagnose this. Let me know if you have any questions.
