My friend has a 2000 Ford Explorer XLS and he wants to change his normal bulbs into Xentec HID's. Ive tried and take out the grill but its kinda hard, there are 2 screws together with whole grill that goes around all the lights and w\i believe there are clips behind them that is keeping the grill from coming out. How do i do i take it out? How do you guys do it? I saw that there is a bulb behind that can be taken out but im not sure weather it is the high beam or low beam light bulb. Anyone can help me on how to get to it is much appreciated! Thanks for any suggestions.

you have to remove the lights first.
then you can get the grill out

wouldnt the parking light hit the grill? so you just unscrew the scews and take it off and you can take the healights off and you can change the bulbs?

I though I had pictures of my lights out when I redid my grille but I can't find them right now.

but yes there should be a few screws and the headlight assemblies should pull out, then just unplug the bulb socket

and behind it will be the screws for the corner lights

I just did what you told mr and it work great, except when I saw that there was only ONE light bulb inside there, is that bulb suppose to be the high and low beam in one light bulb? Because the HID bulb is only low beam, I put the HID and they didn't want to work maybe because I didnt check the cables right, (where the red cable is I should of change the red to black) but the question is: Is the light bulb that is inside suppose to be low and high beam for on only ONE light bulb?

First off, you don't have to remove your entire headlight assembly and grille, just to change 2 bulbs....

Secondly, second gen explorers take a 9007 bulb which is a low and high beam. The HID kit that your friend probably cheaped out on is most likely only a low beam kit, which will fix the HID bulb into the high beam spot and blind everyone on the road with obnoxious blue

PnP's are so easy to hook up, like honestly all the plugs are made to go together one way.....
