Well, I finally went Green Laning, in Corwen, North Wales, had a great day out, only used half a tank, including going to and from the venue... so was more than happy with that,

Here's some pictures and a little video... they're mostly of the car in front and the car behind... but you get the idea...

Hey blueka
ah, animals in their natural habitat
Were your mates impressed with the ex?

I think they were quietly impressed but didn't say too much... they're landrover geeks and you know what they're like... but it held it's own and didn't get stuck. If anything, it was only down to me crapping myself that held it back, so next time I won't be such a chicken.

looks like you had a lot of fun,its good to see the explorer being used for what it was designed for!

I had the best time... n some really scary moments... but it was a blast and I can't wait to do it again!

your braver than me i wouldnt have done the water crossing if it was over the wheels ? im offroading again in november in hampshire i joined a 4x4 club last year but only been a few times as i work every weekend and cant wait hopefully get round to doing a few bits to waterproof airbox and some of the electrics but i generally stay away from the water and play in the mud but its great fun glad you enjoyed it

I took my mum and my nephew and we all crapped ourselves.. the scariest part was the hill with the big rock in the middle of it, but the pictures didn't really show it.. I'm hoping some of the other guys will post theirs up and then I'll throw them on here

Happy Christmas Si. Looks good and so near to home for me. A friend did this run in his Trooper a couple of years ago and raved about it. The more I see about the Corwen Carwash, the more I'm convinced that it's not a good idea for my Ex and I think my mate missed out on this bit too. I'm spending quite bit of time trying to keep it working properly without running it through the full flowing River Dee! The new photos are good. Shame that that feller had to push Betty up the hill all by himself - 4 litres are obviously not what they used to be! GRoB.

Great pics Si!

I took my mum and my nephew and we all crapped ourselves..

Do you mean right about here?

You just saying you were worried about the rock.....then actually seeing you on the rock were two totally different things to me lol. I thought you were worried about getting stuck not tipping over!

Glad to see you had yourself some fun! Great pictures by the way
