thanks i have a 93 ranger stx 4x4 i have new ball joints ,a arm bushings sway bar links. there is a loud clunking noise under drivers side floor bd.almost sounds like a coil spring popping sound but also has new springs also. popping noise when pressing the brake and letting off mostly very low speeds

I really wish I could help you I have a 2wd 94 that is doing the same thing I have crawled all over that thing and havent found anything. I am going to start checking body bbushings next. It is enough to drive me nuts, but with 223,000 miles I expect some moans and groans from it.

Check the radius arm to beam bolts. They need to be 2 arms, 2 legs put your back into it tight.

Most likely the bottom bolt.

thanks i will check these item today my truck is a lift at work, the noise is getting worse ,i even turn the coil spring thought it was not seated right.
