Hello, sorry if this has been asked or just sounds like q stupid question. The dealer was able to program the keys to the vehicle and it starts, but only when the key is in the backup slot as well as none of the buttons on the fob work? Anyone have any ideas?

Doesn't sound like a very good programming job. Does the vehicle at least recognize the key when it is near the vehicle for locking/unlocking the doors/liftgate? It does have the correct frequency? Have you tried another battery in the keyfob? The backup slot is for use when the fob battery is very weak or dead.

I don't have the vehicle, it's currently with the dealer and they're saying that it's due to the antennas that communicate with the fob?

Was everything working initially before to deprogrammed the keys? If so, I don't understand why they would say it's an antenna issue. The only things that changed were the keyfobs.

What other changes did you make with forscan besides erasing the keys and trying to reprogram them?
