Hi guys:
Could be a dumb question, but I see numerous threads about the IAC (idle air control) and their relation with the X engine performance.
I read carefully the entire Haynes Manual and I can't find a single word about this darn thing.
However, the Haynes did mention the Air Bypass Valve, wich is located at the side of the throttle body.
Also in other site (I don't remember where) a guy said that the IAC in the X is not serviceable when the electric connector is at 90º, but you can clean it if the electric connector goes straigh to the rear.
take a look
Is this thing the same that you guys call the IAC?
If is the same thing, is possible open it and clean?
Thank in advance
