IAC Valve location and insulation in engine?

2007 Explorer 4.0 v6. Looking for the location of the IAC Valve. Pics would be nice.

While I was looking I noticed in the middle of the engine someone had stuffed pink fiberglass insulation. I pulled it out but has anyone heard of such a thing? I bought it used last year.

I just purchased a 2007 Explorer and was also wondering if/where the IAC is located on this engine (4.0 V6). My wife said that the engine would idle and gain RPM's and then die.

I too found some insulation material as well, right above the engine. I figured it was some rodents from the prior owner! I guess not?!
