I'm having problems starting my explorer, and thought a suggestion from a previous post, I feel its the Idle Air Control valve (see "Theft Protection" thread posted a couple of minutes ago). The problem is that the car will start fine, however without any gas supplied, immediately dies. If supplied with a little throttle it can run, however one I take my foot off of the gas it dies. The idle just drops. After reading around on the net is seems like there may be some quick-fix solutions to cleaning the valve before having a mechanic take a look.

First, I'd like to thank the person who helped my diagonse the problem. Secondally, does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about cleaning, testing or changing a IAC for my explorer?
