I have a 97 Explorer that developed a problem the last few days. When I turn the key backwards I have power and all lights and gauges work. When I turn key forward, as soon as the "key lock" button pops out I lose all power. Could this be as simple as changing the ignition switch or is it gonna be a pain for an electrcal problem? Anyone else ever ran into this?
