Ignition switch problems

Has anyone changed the ignition switch on a 93 Explorer? I understand the steering wheel has to be removed if you have tilt wheel. Would appreciate any advice. Jack Norwood

Do you mean the ignition switch, or the ignition cylinder (the part the key goes in)?

It is the part that the key goes in.
