I am installing a four inch suspension lift on a first gen XLT, not sure if I should go with 32's, or try to fit 33's under it, only difference to me looks like 1/2 inch in from hub to ground. I would prefer the 33's but not ready to wack on the fenders yet, it hurts too much:p , also think 32's on 16 inch wheels would keep some of it's handling ability on road. Decisions, decisions, what to do.

If you get the 32's, you will want the 33's....so start with the 33's....HA HA:D

16 wheels  thats like 4 wheels per fender... thats gonna rub :) do they make 33s for 16" wheels? do you have 16s now? if so what size?

You are right, I am waiting for that magic reply that will say "33's noproblem":D

Well I am thinking of buying dejello's wheels 16x10

If you did, it would be a lie. 33s with 4" lift = trimming!

Argh!
I do not want trimming, and trying to avoid the body lift, too many bumper issues:( How about the 10 width on the wheel, is that gonna cause a problem as well?

Opps, thanks I got it fixed.

I will have to remove my lower body moulding to run 15x8's and 33's with a 6" lift. To fit 10" wide, I am going to have to do some moderate trimming.

It would be a miracle to fit 33's on a 10" wide rim with only a 4" and no trimming.:)

the 10" wide wheels are gonna cause more problems than 8". Also, tires for 15" rims are cheaper. If you are worried about rubbing, but want the height you could go with 33x10.50s on 8" wide rims. They'd fit much easier than 33x12.50s.

But trust us, you're gonna want the 33x12.50s so you might as well do it now. You will save money in the longrun by doing it now.

Thanks guys,
Looks like the bumper issue will have to be dealt with, I am leaning towards the 3 inch body lift, that will give me 7 inchs lift, then maybe I can get those badboys under there. I have spent the last year totally reconditioning my ex, and really do not want to wack the fenders, not yet anyway, it's still a daily driver.
