- 2016 Explorer XLT
Not really a new member but I have been away for several years. I previous vehicle was a 2008 Explorer Sport Trac and I loved that truck. I am the Communications Supervisor for the local 911 Center. I installed quite a bit of radio equipment including a Havis custom radio console.
I had the vehicle set up just the way I wanted it but the time came to let it go. It was in mint condition with 51,000 miles on it. It only sat on the lot for one day before a guy bought it for his son. I hope he treats it the way I did and if so, it will serve him well just like it did me.
Now my wife and I are the proud owners of TWO 20016 Explorer XLT's. So far, I am very impressed with the features, fit and finish. We've added WeatherTech floor mats to both as well as WeatherTech mud flaps. WeatherTech makes great products right here in the USA. I also added an OEM stone guard (hood protector) to mine. The wife didn't want one.
Glad to be back.
