Im lost, haha, what rim size/offset do i need for 285/75 tires, 2004 Explorer?

Well i have 285/75 rims on my stock rims at the moment...and im growing tired of looking at them stock:

Im looking at keeping the same tires, so 16", but theres different size widths and offsets:

Its close but i still have daylight betweem.....maybe i should get some spacers with it as well?

Ive seen both of the rims on our trucks and both look really good on our trucks. If you get the cragars get the 0 offset and 4 inch backspace. GEt this one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/CRR-3977712/

Thanks man, I was hoping they'd have one I could use that didn't need wheel spacers. Diidnt wanna run them and add stress on parts.

The 0 offset and 4in backspacing withh bring the wheel lout some or be about the same as stock rims?

Someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but anytime you change the overall geometry of the wheel, whether through the use of spacers or with different offset, you will put some level of stress on the steering and suspension components.

The 0 offset and 4 inch Back space will bring your tires out past the fenders and give you a nice look. Added a bigger offset and backspace does add a little stress like DIVEMASTER said. There are alot of guys on here running wheels with larger offsets and havent had any problems.

yeh it does, that's why I didn't want any extraaaa from spacers ha.

What's the width and offset on your stock wheels? If it's the same as my '07 (7.5" wide and 44mm offset), then they'll stick out almost 2", if my calculations are correct. I have 17x8 with a 20mm offset on mine, and they stick out almost 1.5" over stock.

I have the same size of tires, but plan on using stock rims. I have been searching for a thread that will tell me how thick of a spacer I need to run them. I tried to put them on the other day and the tire shop said it was rubbing on the upper a arm. I didn't get a chance to look at it, much less measure how far out it needed to go. Since it appears that you are running that size without any spacer, I assume I don't need much of a spacer. Is anyone running this size with a spacer and stock wheels?
