I'm new and I Need ideas

I'm new to this site and to explorers, but I'm already madly in love with my '91 sport 4x4. However, I'd love more with a 3 inch lift and dual exhaust. What's the best way to do this. Keep in mind that I'm a college student and mommy and daddy don't give me an allowance. LOL Any other cool mods you guys can come up with would be great too.

First, welcome to the site!

Second, for the lift, do you want a body lift or a suspension lift? The body lift would be lots cheaper, but I think suspension lifts look better, and if you take it offroad, they perform better. I think Performance Accesories has a 3" body lift for the early explorers. If you go with the suspension lift, what I would do is get the James Duff 2.5" kit without the add-a-leaf or the front coils and have coils and leaves made to give 3" of lift. Add to it the Duff dual front shock setup and you're good to go. Or you could just step up to a 4" suspension, like the Trailmaster or Skyjacker (there may be others and I may be wrong on the brand names there). As for exhaust, a lot of guys on the board like the Borla.

You have no idea what you've stumbled into. Tell your wallet I said 'good luck'.

My suggestion is for the exhaust. What's the best way you can get a dual? Considering you have a '91, which means you have a 4.0L V6, the best you can do is to not get one at all. A more free flowing single will do you what you need. Do a search on exhaust using my username. You'll come up with loads of info as to why I'm saying that.
And oh yeah, Borla kicks major @$$!!
