Hey everyone, I'm kinda new. I've posted a couple of times about a meet that I'm having & my truck. I do have to say that I am VERY impressed with this site. Even on RangerPowerSports, I don't get as near as many of replies as I do from here. I plan to be stopping by here quite often even though I don't know too much about Explorers, but mabye some of the info. will help me & maybe I can use it for my truck. THANKS!

Brenton...

Welcome back, this site is great! Only bad thing is theres a nasty case of the mod flu going around. Once you catch it you will wanna mod your rig like no other!

Glad you like the site Brenton. :) If you hang out here too long though, your wallet will be empty...but atleast your truck will be even nicer than before. :D

Hi All,

I'm a newbie, too. I just wanted to say thanks to everyone for all the excellent information provided on this website. I have very little experience doing mods to vehicles or working on vehicles for that matter, but with the information I've read, I can see that I won't be too terrified to tackle some jobs on my 94 XLT 4x4. My truck has almost 160K miles on it now and she still runs great, but I know there are many things that need some work. I've got a drivers window that is off track (second time around) and a back one that works intermitently. Front brakes seem to be a constant issue on the passenger side. Well, I could go on... but I feel I can do most of the work myself now that I have some great info at my disposal.

Thanks in advance for taking time to answer questions and thanks again for such an informative site for the Explorer.

Sincerely,
Mike

Welcome to the site, Mike. Where is Bonaire, GA? I'm in Lawrenceville, GA. :)

Bonaire, GA

Hi Bryan,

Located in the middle of the state next to Warner Robins; just below Macon. Bonaire is the hometown of the gov. Thanks for the response and the welcome.

Is Lawrenceville outside of Atlanta?

Mike

Yep right beside Gwinnett. I used to have to deliver to Macon/Warner Robins AFB a lot so I know that area pretty well.

Yeah I was pretty surprised how much the area has grown. I was away for number of years with military service and living out West. Pretty amazing how fast the new homes are going up around here along with the prices.

Welcome to the forum brenton and mike

Thanks for the welcome, Sam. I see you're out in San Jose. I lived in Salinas for a number of years, but worked in San Jose down on Tasman and at Onizuka. My wife's family is there in Salinas. Beautiful area that we enjoy visiting when we get the chance.

Mike
