I'm new to this forum!

Hey all,
Just joined the forum after purchasing my first Explorer: '05 Black XLT. Only had it two days and I friggin love it! I got a great deal on the truck and intend to do most of my own repairs. I have checked out some DIY posts and you guys are awesome. I hope to learn a lot. Will post some pics soon.

Thanks man. Not sure about mods. I also have an '05 vette which I have been slowly upgrading. For the XLT, maybe a rear assembly exhaust to replace that ugly exhaust pipe! I have the 4.0 six so some extra acceleration might be nice. what does a CAI do for the six?

hmmm well for an exhaust explorer express has 3 nice ones. i got the Mac on for my 5.0 and it sounds great.

as for CAI it will definately improve the responsiveness but ive been looking and havent found one for the 4.0 in the 05 i dont know if mabe one from a 2004 will work ud have to ask someone who knows lol.
