A while ago I was telling you guys about a clunk type sound i had whenever i gave my X throttle in reverse.
Well she has graduated beyond that now and no longer does it. Heres the latest, for a day all she did if she was turned off....once you started her and put her in gear, without touching the gas she would idle forward as normal only that she seemed to stutter...then very shortly after she would completely die (stall)
no problems in starting her, even in neutral. this happened in reverse and in overdrive or regular drive.
if she survived the initial stuttering you could drive her all day without any problems, even switch from reverse to drive, which ever you want.
EDIT: it definitely feels like a drivetrain engaging issue
i think it might be the tranfer case....any other ideas out there?
thanks,
leo
