Im so angry!! Cant get my new setup!!

Im so angry right now. I was just gonna order my body lift, tires, dual shock kit and all the stuff for my new setup. Now my transmission starts acting up. It takes a few seconds for it to engage in reverse and with a big clunk. It seems to be slipping when driving too. So it looks like I have a rebuild to pay for in the near future. Right when I have the money to mod my truck. Im so angry. Sorry guys just had to rant.

Know how you feel. I finished up my, albiet small lift, and was getting ready to get a new set of 31's....then the entire clutch system had to be replaced, (master/slave cyliner, disc, pressure plate bearings....) $1000 freakin bucks. I know......it sucks!

Big red, I do know your pain. Last October, I lifted mine another 6" and put the 35's on there. About three weeks later, I started having some weird noises whenever I put it in reverse. Took to a tranny shop and they said that reverse was pretty shot and 1st gear was almost gone. Since I had just spent $2500 on lift, tires, and rims, I didn't have the money for the tranny. Good thing mom has a big credit card. Between the tranny and new gears, it was $3500. It took me until two weeks ago just to pay that card off.

yeah, i got lucky...dont have too may worries with my 5-speed, and tehtranny in the 91 was done a few years ago, but i am still working on a $660 brake job for the 91, $880 for the brakes and shocks for the 93, with e-brake, and $550 for the clutch.....at 21.9%!

You poor boy.... My transmission went too. 2600 bucks to replace it! I think it's going again TOO..and its only been 10 000 km's since I had it done

Can you believe its on it's 3rd transmission?!

i have one. they just increased my limit by 4x so i could transfer most of my other cards. 3 weeks ago, i had 7k in credit card debt on 9 diff credit cards (bank one Plat visa, cap one Gold MC, sears gold MC, shell, BP, JBRobinson x2, Best Buy, & JCPenney).

now, i have 6500 on 5, and i close one of those this week ( as soon as teh payment posts). all those repairs were on my platinum that doesnt mean squat. cap one was my first major CC at 18, with 19.8% and now at 20, its still my lowest rate (although my transfers are all at 13.9).

i also till owe 700 from teh tranny in my first car from 2000...that one set me back 2800, and i was only making 400/mo. i had a ton of car repairs with the first 2 cars, which is mainly how i fell so far behind. the ex has needed a few things (brakes, clutch, shocks, tires, plugs, wires) but has been good to me.
