sounds like a bad or misadjusted tranny...also sounds like $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

tranny isnt even 4 months old  also checked the fluid....

Did you have your torque converter replaced when you got your tranny serviced?? You might have a fried torque converter.

Jeff can you help me out on this torque converter thing. I understand it is there to build up power. My tranny is only a year old from a complete rebuild and i have changed the fluid twice in that time. It seems to accelerate a little funny...kinda builds up torque when I wouldn't expect it to like accelerating then revs a lil then goes. It's not like the tranny is slipping, kinda reminded me of those few weeks I had the 35's and 3.73s it was a PITA to drive.

A torque converter is basically a fluid clutch to disconnect the motor from the transmission. Instead of me writing a book here, check out Torque Converter 101 . It explains the how's and why's of torque converters. There are some other links at the end too.

The gear selector on the dash may also need to be adjusted. There is a dial somewhere in the dash you can adjust. Mine did the same thing, until I realized it clicked between (N)eutral and (D)rive
