In January I am planning to do a new lift, shocks, brush guards, lights, larger wheels/tires, side bars & skid Plates. I have about 7,000 allocated for the entire job and had some questions about the lift. Right now I am planning to do either a two or 3 inch lift with larger shocks to hopefull give myself a bit more clearence. Girst question is I heard you are limited with the stock front end on how much you can lift before causing wear on the CV's Do I need to worry about this or is the lift I am planning low enough not to have an affect on them.
Second is I do not have the time to install this myself so I will be having a shop or hire someone else to do it for me. Does anyone know of a place that will do this in the Palm Springs Ca. Area. As for the shocks what are the benefits of running two per side as to one and which ones are reccomended? I offroad every weekend but also use this as my primary source of transportation so I need something that is not so still that I totally ruin the ride.
