I got a Flowmaster 50 series put on Friday and I love the sound. A nice low V-8 rumble, not to loud, just perfect for what I want. What a difference a muffler can do. I was actually getting board of driving it. I highly recommend one for you V-8 Explorer Drivers. Just thought I would let you all know that it's worth the money.

BTW, I paid $200 even and it included a nice chrome tip.

Yeah, I like rolling the window down and punching it when I go under a bridge.

congrats on the new addition, i love exhaust :) well...exhaust systems i mean. got any pics?

You should combine that with KKM, if you haven't already. It would sound twice as good. :)
Did you get a delta or non-delta?

Non Delta (I think)

It's the 50 Series SUV Performance muffler. The only draw back is you can't really hear it to much when your hard on the peddle after arond 3500 RPM. It's mainly for around town at low to mid RPM's. It sure sounds good though!;)

Thats a delta

hey MONMIX, anyway you can upload the sound coming out of yours? I want to get mine but not sure about the note on the 4.0 SOHC. I got one price of $180 and it seems worth it, what do you think? Gracias

Man I can hardly spell words correctly on here much less figure out how to get sounds into it :)

The best I can say is it sounds loud when I want it loud and it is quiet when I want it quiet.
It doen't sound like a Mustang, but it doesn't sound like a Civic either
( thank GOD )

I am looking into throwing a 50 Series on my X. My dad and I have dual 50 Series on our 1956 Chevy Belair and lets just say, not only can you hear it, but you can feel it.

Do you know if it improved your gas milage?

Could you feel a gain in HP?

Actually my milage decresed.
Initially I convinced my self it was because I loved the sound so much that I kept on punching it.
*sigh* I have since discovered that even driving normal I do in fact have a decrease.

I do how ever have a HP gain.
Quicker in quicker out = quicker.
