Hi Guys,

I have a 98 Limited not that it matters but it might.

I was wondering if the words on the overhead display lamp mode lamp are supposed to be lit when you have the headlights turned to the on position. Anyone?

I was wondering the same with the indicator words for the Memory seats as well as for the power mirrors. It doesn't make sense to me that they wouldn't light up.

Let me know guys.

Thanks in advance.

What happens when you turn the lights on? THe words dissapear?

Also, I think you are the FIRST person I have seen here from Saskatchewan...Welcome to the site!

I noticed on mine the mode & lamp buttons aren't lit up.. I'll have to take apart the console to see if there are lights on the buttons itself..

mine light up

Thanks for the welcome Crankcase!

Ak LTD Xplorer, yours really light up?

The buttons on the overhead console do not light up. This has never been a feature. Same with the power mirror switch. On the other hand, I am not sure about the power seat buttons. They may have been lit on the earlier models (like AK LTD) but the newer models may not be lit to save cost.
