Injector harness plug

Need Injector harness plug? Where to find?

Had a stuck injector and got them rebuilt, not much trouble with the install. Only problem is that the front drivers side injector wiring harness plug looks like it got hot, had bare wire exposed at the wire entrance to the plug.

Plug has a part number of e8eb-14489b. Anybody got any Ideas of where I can get hold of a replacement plug. Did Ford use the same plug for number of years.

Will junk yard be my only source?

Lincoln/Mercury dealer had a third party replacement plug in stock but only had ONE!!!!

Came up with two sources, car care products and Keller products.

You may have to go with the "third party" style plug, since finding one in a wrecking yard might be impossible. When you replace the plug it is best to soder the wireing connections as opposed to using butt connectors. The butt connectors increase the resistance in the wire and could possibly affect the signal to the injector.
