I installed my quart components, and they sound amazing even with only 40 going to each. THe problem I have is, that since I installed them, my power door locks, power seat, and mirrors wont work. They shorted out, and now when I replace the fuse they just blow it right away???? And the power seats arent even in the doors? I dotn get it. Has this happened to anyone else? I didnt mess with the power at all, just installed the tweeter and woofer, and ran the wires to the back. ANy help would be appreciated.
THanks,
Jason

I would first try to track each wire for the seats to see if you have a short or have crimped a wire or something like that. If it is blowing the fuse right away you may have just accidentally hooked up a wire wrong or crimped something causing it to short out. I would recheck the wires first. Hope that helps.

I had the same problem with my speakers a while back. Try disconnecting the mb quarts for a while and see what happens. My back speakers whent out and my fuses blew all the time. No matter what fuse i put in it blue. So when i went back to the stereo place were they instaled my CD player. The instaler cut the power from my cd player to my back speakers. I havn't blown a fuse scince. Do you have an amp that powers everything else? Or are you just getting your power from the cd player amp? Or or you getting yur power from the internal stock explorer amp (if you have one)?

thanks guys I will try that. I am getting my power from the sony es headunit I have. Its a 40x4. Thats all I have running to it for now till I can get a amp. I will try dissconnecting the speakers and see if my fuse still blows. THanks

try checking the wiring harness you may have moved some wires and they may have rubbed off the insulation. It seems really esay to do.
