I bought the steering stabalizer from FMExplorer, who by the way did a great job of getting me the parts considering all the problems we had.

I have no instuctions, I did a search but didn't find anything on installing. I couldn't locate any close up pics to give me an idea. I don't want to mount the brackets until I'm sure where they go. Any help, info or feedback would be great.

dejello: Thank you very much. That is exactly what I need. Does this part need to be mounted exactly or can it be eye balled? Also do you have a rough estimate on the measurements? Just thought I'd ask. Thanks!

PV - for what it's worth, I eyeballed mine. You may want to crank the wheel all the way to the left, get a measurement with the shock compressed, then crank to the right and measure with the shock at full length. This will help to keep you from losing some of the turning radius from mounting the shock in the wrong place.

Thanks for the info and responses, people!!!

Brian1: Yes it is for the rancho set up and is the current set up for our late explorers.

I just realized my lift has stuff from 3 different companies... :p Yeah, it's a rancho stabilizer, just went out and looked..

PV-I have no measurements, sorry (a shop did the lift for me before I started actually wanting to learn more)..and I guess I'm too lazy.. but like FMExplorer said, eyeball it I guess..

And some famous words around here:
Good luck...
