I was looking for anyone whom could tell me about installing the left front body mounts on a Sport Trac 4X4?
Thanks

Under the cab itself or under the radiator support?

I sent you a few things to your bellsouth addy. Where are you located?

If the bolts don't come free it can be a PITA but if you break the loctite seal then its fairly easy. Basically loosen all the body mounts, maybe you can get away with just loosening 1 side, not sure though. Then jack up the body itself enough to take out the old bushing and replace it with the new one.

Got all the bolts out and even jacked the body up to put in all the insulators in placd but one. I can not lift the body high enough to clear the top insulator in the same location you show in the picture. What could be holding the body from rainsing anymore. IS there another place to unbolt up in the engine area?

Try moving the floor jack closer to that body mount location. When I did my body lift I had a helper lift the front cus the floor jack was just far enough away I needed an extra 1/8" to fit the puck under.

That said, did you disconnect the clip of the shifter cable from the front of the firewall? that might be holding you up.

Another could be if your parking brake is engaged.

The ones in front of the motor you get the bolt from the bottom and the nut is on the inside which you can see when you lift up the hood and look next to the headlight. I'd undo all of them but not completely just enough for free play. All 6 in the cab and the 2 in front of the motor. Other than that theres ground cables that have very little play on both sides of the frame towards the center of the truck in between the driver and passenger doors. Couldnt hurt to undo those too. Hope that helps. Use a jack with a piece of wood on it, thats how i replaced one of the body mount bushings.

If you can't get to the nuts on the front 2, removing the wheel well makes it pretty easy. I only did it during my body lift so I had other reasons for having the wells off.
