Are there replacement bulbs for the rear wiper, fog light, and defrost switches? How about for the headlight and cruise switches? I've been told you have to buy new switches and being a ford switch I wouldn't be surprised, but there has got to be a cheaper alternative!!!

Thanks

do a search... something like changing hte color... i dont remeber how to do it, never actually done it, but other people on here have....

Yes there are replacement bulbs available. You just have to remove the switch and in some cases take switch apart and put a new bulb in. In other cases the bulb can be accessed w/o taking the switch apart. It's been done many times before and there are write-ups about it so do a search (try headlight switch bulb, cruise control switch blulb, etc.). They are all pretty easy to do.

Just remember to disconnect the battery when changing the cruise control switch light bulb (actually a good idea to disconnect the battery whenever working around the dash). It requires removing the air bag unit ( again a pretty simple procedure) and you don't want it to go off in you face.

Good Luck

Lee
