I have an 2002 Explorer that needs a new cluster. I have found a used unit in great shape in the local parts yard. Can this be changed over or are there going to be program errors with the replacement? Need help!

Thanks
Gary

This should be a direct plug and play replacement. If you do run into problems you can swap the info center/ODO pretty easily.

instrument cluster problems

I just had mine replaced 3 times. The dealer where I got my car keeps screwing it up and it now says it has less mileage then when I bought the car. The first time is had too many miles. The second one didn't work properly. He told me he sent it out to get it reprogrammed and now it says less mileage because they have to go by the original mileage not what is mileage is actually on the car. This sounds like a whole lot of BS to me. Anyone else know anything about this?

The unit did plug in and work fine. The only problem is that the vehicle now has almost 200,000 miles in it now. I will just have to live with it I guess.

Thanks for the help.
