So I pulled the codes from my 94 Navajo and it gave me back a code of Insufficient EGR flow.

What could it be besides a cracked vacuum line or a stuck valve.

Is there a way to clean a valve or are they best just to replace?:exp:

check your vac lines because they are old and can crack very easy. also see on the egr solinoid ...2 things , 1) the wrie harness on the unit can go bad (mine had the red wire tab pushed back ...fixed it with hot glue pushed it back and held it while it cooled ) 2) the double line that connect the solinoid to the egr valve ( vac line) has rubber ends on it and after years of heating they can crack ( while haveing code 327 problems i went out one day while it was 25 f and was working on the solinoid and cracked the double vac lines...easy to replace with new rubber lines) but still if the ends are cracked / leaking ...just replace them with new rubber vac hoses.you could try to get it at a junk yard but to be honest it just better to replace the vac hoses with new instead of another 15 year old part thats prone to fail again .

my thread on egr hell...

I had an '02 Escape that did the same thing so I pulled out the EGR tube from the intake manifold. Check the inside and it was clear. Be careful with what you stick inside. There an orfice plate in there. A pressure sensor measures pressure drop across the orfice plate to determine EGR airflow rate. I replaced that sensor and everything was all good after that.
