I bought my 08 a couple weeks ago and one thing I've noticed is that the cup holders next to the shifter end up getting very hot because of the ducting directly below them for the 2nd row seating when the heat is on. It's incredibly stupid that there is not some sort of temperature shield to keep this from happening. Has anyone modified the console to alleviate this problem? I am thinking about taking a solid block of styrofoam and carving it out to fit around the cup holders from underneath so it will block the temperature transfer from the ducting to the console.
