I bought my friend one of those cheap ebay.com filter/adapter kits so he could see if he liked the increase in throttle respone and such but we went to install it yesterday and the damned adapter holes do not much up so we just kinda forced the screws in 
and it has not even an inch gap at the top were outside air could get into the system and i just wanted to know if this tiny little gap could hurt anything in his truck/engine? i told him i could get him a better set-up for $90 (KKM) but he is in college and you know how that goes...3 weeks of mac and cheese
