intake gasget

Hi. Im fixing my intake gasget on my 93 x and was wondering if there is anything else i shuld do while every thing is apart? thanks.

Might be a good time to make sure the fuel injectors get a good cleaning.

I would try to copyright the terms "eddy bouer" and "gasget."

Like MrShorty mentioned, test and clean the injectors and you should be good to go.

Might as well change the valve cover gaskets. I think you have to do this any way if you are replcing the lower intake gaskets but if you are only replacing the uper it would be a good time to do this. and you could take a look at your cam position sensor if it is making any noise ie a chirping or squeeking coming from the back of the motor towards the firewall. although it is a pain in the ass it would be the best time to do it becaues it is 3 times as hard trying while the intake is on trust me. But if it is squeeking chances are its going out and when it dose the car will not start (not extremely common but it dose happen). If you do plan on replacing the cam sensor I could give you instructions on how just ask

thanks for the help. it is a biger job than i pland on alot of stuff has to be moved.

thanks im almost dun i took my time ciz i didn't know what i was doing. and when i put it all back together today i broke the perg silanod. i think thats what its caled
