I am in the process of replacing the intake gaskets on my 91 sport and was wondering if there is any thing else I should do while I have it apart. I have read most of the threads I could find on this but most of them are afew years old. Just seeing if there is any new info to be had or hints I might need to know. Got it all tore down in a few hours , not too bad of job the Haynes book helped out a lot. I bought some carb cleaner to clean some of the stuff off but it states on thecan not to use it on fuel injected engines, any thoughts on this. I must say that I was happy to see that there wasn't any sludge in the engine, none under the valve covers and none inthe lifter valley . I just got this truck a few weeks ago and it has over 225000 miles on it. looks like somebody treated it pretty well. It ran really good the couple of days I got too drive it. Any inpuut would be appreciated.
