Reese, Master Lock, and Convert A Ball make interchangeable hitch balls. Anyone used one of these? Any problems? My 5x10 trailer is 1 7/8th inch and my camper is a 2 inch ball. Cheaper than buying a separate reciever style hitch with separate tongues.

I have seen them, never personally used one before. If you kept up with the pin and different balls, it wouldn't be too bad. Keep in mind, salt and corrosion can rust up the pin making it difficult to remove.

If it were me, I'd think about either a double sided ball mount, meaning it has a 2" on one side 1 7/8" ball on the other. Just makes one high and one low depending on which way its turned.

I just use a solid triple ball draw bar, it was pricey and is a little high for some trailers on my truck but it works great.

Got a 1 7/8 and 2inch MasterLock combo. Looks good so far. Real easy to change balls. Just flip a lever on top and turn 90degrees and lift ball off. $21.50 at a local parts house we use at work.

I have one, can't remember the brand offhand. It uses a crosspin to swap out the balls. It has worked great so far, my camper is 1 7/8ths and everything else I tow is 2". Since I'm still using the bumper for my hitch  it's nice to be able to swap em quickly without having to break out the wrenches.
